Natural refrigerant R290 driven freezers, multidecks and serve-overs of Hydroloop Glycol series were installed in ABC Siihtala gas station, Finland in cooperation with Coolfors Finland Oy.
About the solution
Over the last years environmental issues have become increasingly important and energy efficiency and emission reduction are now more urgent than ever. We are glad our customers in Finland tend to choose green solutions, which are beneficial both for their business and also for the environment.
For the ABC Siihtala project, environment-friendly plug-in refrigeration equipment using R290 was installed: freezer cabinets ERIDA of length 3.90 m (4 units), chiller cabinets JUPITER of length 3.75 m (4 units) and our new self-service promotional counters IDA of length 1.29 m (4 units). Equipment uses small amounts of refrigerant R290 which is energy-efficient and help save costs in the long run.
The cabinets are water cooled using Hydroloop Glycol technology. They are connected to a sustainable glycol circuit cooled by outside dry cooler, which allows removal of excess heat outside the shop. The system guarantees high efficiency and is a compact space-saving solution.
Green Wave Equipment Installed
Installed JUPITER refrigerated cabinets of Green Wave R290 line provide excellent presentation for any goods put on display thanks to its frameless hinged glass doors by Pan-Dur. Insulated Eco Doors D do not require frame heating and help save up to 70% energy compared to a traditional open cabinet.
Freezer cabinets ERIDA R290 with large-sized all glass doors Eco Clear from partner Schott provide an outstandingly clear view of the products. These doors are unheated and therefore consume no energy. Anti – condensation foil on the internal pane reliably prevents any fogging after opening. With quite a small footprint, the cabinet offers a large merchandise display at customers eye level.
Our new product IDA R29O is a compact self-service counter, designed for promotional displays. It features sloped positioning and offers 360° visibility, therefore it is great for displaying special promotions or product launches. It can be easily moved and placed in any store area to stimulate impulse purchases. IDA can be multiplexed and connected into lines, which was implemented in the ABC Siihtala object.
