A Variety of Refrigerated Counters for Comfortable Product Display

FREOR VEGA SPACE QB serve-overs range, offers a wide selection of different modifications to fulfill any product display needs, which was perfect for Flora‘s Italian Eatery product assortment. From low-glass self-service counters to specialized solutions designed for patisserie displays, the VEGA SPACE QB range provides versatile options for different retail environments.

Self-service Counters

For this project, Flora’s Italian Eatery selected a combination of self-service and serve-over counters. VEGA SPACE QB LG, VEGA SPACE QB H1, and VEGA SPACE QB H2 self-service counters were installed throughout the eatery to showcase fresh, authentic Italian products that customers can easily select themselves.

The multi-level VEGA SPACE QB H1 / H2 counters feature two to three display levels, ensuring excellent product visibility even from a distance. Their flexible design allows different product categories to be displayed in an organized and appealing way, creating a convenient shopping experience for fast-paced, convenience-driven customers. Meanwhile, the low-glass VEGA SPACE QB LG model is ideal for presenting freshly packed products, allowing customers to browse and choose their items quickly and comfortably.

Serve-over Counters

For product display that needs to be served to the customers across the counter, VEGA SPACE QB HG and NDL ELISA VISION QB serve-overs were implemented. Both counters feature an almost frameless high-glass design that ensures perfect product visibility, helping spot the right product even from a distance. NDL ELISA VISION QB counter was specifically designed for patisserie presentation. With four exhibition levels and a two-big-drawer system on the lower deck, the counter provides staff with more ergonomic, convenient access to products while maintaining an attractive, organized presentation.

Wall-Placed Multideck Solutions for Fresh and Frozen Products

To enhance the counter serve-overs display, additional refrigeration equipment was implemented to showcase a variety of fresh and frozen products. NDL JUPITER multidecks and NDL ERIDA multideck freezers were added at Flora’s Italian Eatery, offering versatile merchandising options while effectively utilizing the available retail space.

Placed along the store walls, these units help maximize the product display area without overcrowding the shopping environment. The NDL JUPITER multideck is ideal for showcasing a variety of fresh products in an organized, easily accessible way. It was placed behind the NDL VEGA SPACE QB serve-overs as an additional storage solution. Meanwhile, the NDL ERIDA freezer offers a reliable solution for frozen product storage and display, maintaining the same, modern design around the store.

A Sustainable and Efficient Refrigeration Solution

Flora’s Italian Eatery is a great example of how FREOR commercial refrigeration equipment from different product lines – SDL and NDL – can work seamlessly together in a single retail environment. The combination of these solutions supports a smooth and convenient shopping experience while presenting the store’s diverse product range in a clear, organized, and visually appealing way.

All installed units operate using the environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, which helps achieve significantly higher energy efficiency, delivering energy savings of around 30% from the refrigerant alone. This not only reduces operational costs but also supports more sustainable retail operations.
