TAYO – Asian Supermarket is known for offering a vibrant selection of unique Asian products, often recognized for their bright and colorful packaging. To enhance their visual appeal even further, the store chose FREOR’s NDL refrigeration equipment,  a perfect match in both function and style. With its dark colors and modern, straight-line design, the NDL units beautifully complement the supermarket’s interior while placing the spotlight firmly on the products displayed.

As a smaller-format store, TAYO required refrigeration solutions for fresh and frozen products that would not occupy too much space in the sales area. That’s why the NDL JUPITER multidecks and NDL ERIDA freezers were selected and placed near the walls. Their cohesive, same-looking design ensures a seamless visual flow throughout the store, not overcrowding it with too many details and providing ample space for product display, while delivering high-performance and energy-efficient cooling.

Future-proof Cooling System Choice

The first FREOR implementation in Israel marks not only the first NDL refrigeration appearance but also the first Hydroloop Glycol system installation in the country.

Hydroloop Glycol system is an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly waterloop cooling solution that operates on the natural R290 refrigerant. This was an easy choice for TAYO – Asian Supermarket, since the system is not only a sustainable and energy-efficient cooling solution, saving up to 30% more energy, but it is also a space-saving one. The Hydroloop Glycol system does not require a separate machine room for the pump station, as it can be mounted anywhere, therefore not occupying additional space on the sales floor.
