W tym roku komercyjne urządzenia chłodnicze FREOR zostały zamontowane w sześciu sklepach COOP. We wszystkich sklepach wybrano nieszkodliwe dla środowiska urządzenia chłodnicze z linii produkcyjnych FREOR Green Wave R290 i CO2. Produkty te wykorzystują naturalne, niewpływające na rozpad warstwy ozonowej czynniki chłodnicze, które nie mają lub mają minimalny wpływ na globalne ocieplenie. Urządzenia zostały zamontowane w sklepach przez partnerów FREOR w Holandii – Koelservice van Tol.

Wszystkie sześć sklepów COOP wybierało z układów chłodzenia FREOR przyjaznych dla środowiska: Hydroloop Glycol działający za pomocą propanu (R290) i autonomiczne lub tradycyjne układy chłodzenia Plug & Play, działające za pomocą naturalnego, przyjaznego dla środowiska czynnika chłodniczego CO2 (R744).
