Hydroloop refrigeration system is a cost-effective alternative to the remote refrigeration system. It connects multiple plug-in refrigerators and/or cold rooms to a glycol condensing system. The glycol system removes excess condensation heat through liquid pipes to the exterior of a building, or it can be used to heat the store and/or water.
Hydroloop system ensures high energy efficiency and is also environmentally friendly, thanks to its ability to reuse the excess condensation heat formed during the refrigeration cycle.
Hydroloop Glycol
Hydroloop Glycol system connects plug-in refrigeration equipment fitted inside with compressors and all refrigeration cycle components to a glycol-cooled system with a plate condenser. The system efficiently removes excess condensation heat through liquid pipes to the exterior of a building or allows reusing it for heating the store or water. The pump station in the system eliminates the need for a machinery room and facilitates glycol circulation in a closed-cycle liquid system. An outdoor dry cooler is utilized in the system to enhance heat recovery.
Environment friendliness
Operates with natural and future-proof propane (R290) gas refrigerant with GWP 3.
Cost-effectiveness
Easier and cheaper installation, compared with a remote system, and simpler maintenance.
Energy efficiency
30% more energy efficiency with the possibility of reaching up to 70% efficiency with Continuous Cooling technology.
Sustainability
Allows reusing the emitted heat for shop heating through an integrated heating system.
Safety
Available from 150g to 500g of R290 refrigerant in a single circuit with a very low refrigerant leakage rate.
Flexibility
Easy to replace, relocate, and add components or pieces of refrigeration equipment without stopping the whole system.
Space-saving
No machinery room is required for the pump station since it can be mounted in any wanted place.
Easy installation
There is no need for certified refrigeration experts for system installation—all you need to do is connect equipment to simple hydraulic pipes and plug it into an outlet.
Adaptabillity
Easy to integrate with various heating systems.
Ergonomic shopping and working experience
No heat discharge into the shop.
Hydroloop Glycol WPI
Hydroloop Glycol WPI system connects plug-in refrigeration equipment, fitted inside with compressors and all refrigeration cycle components, to a glycol-cooled system with a plate condenser and a small-sized circulatory water pump. The integrated water pump facilitates glycol circulation in a closed-cycle liquid system and eliminates the need for the main pump station. Even more space saving
No space is needed for the main pump station.
Increased energy efficiency
Water pumps run with the compressors for a maximum of 16 hours daily, saving 30% energy on glycol circulation compared to the traditional Hydroloop system.
Hydroloop Hybrid
Hydroloop Hybrid system connects plug-in refrigeration equipment fitted inside with compressors and all refrigeration cycle components to a glycol-cooled system with air and plate condensers. The system allows combining two different condensation heat removal systems with the possibility of switching over. It can efficiently emit the heat directly into the shop via an air condenser mounted in the equipment or remove it through liquid pipes, where it can be reused to heat the water or removed outside the building. The pump station in the system eliminates the need for a machinery room and facilitates glycol circulation in a closed-cycle liquid system. An outdoor dry cooler is utilized in the system to enhance heat recovery.

Hydroloop Condensing Unit
FREOR customized Hydroloop Condensing Unit allows coldrooms to connect to the Hydroloop system. The condensing units are intended to maintain the cold rooms’ temperatures. To achieve that, they are fitted with compressors and plate heat exchangers, which allow them to connect to the same Hydroloop line as other refrigerated display units. The system is easy to install and can be mounted on the top outside of the cold room with no additional space required or placed in the technical room. That makes it a compact refrigeration solution with maximized storage space.
Environment friendliness
Very small quantity of natural R290 refrigerant with GWP of 3.
Energy efficient
Low power consumption and can be paired with Continuous Cooling technology to save up to 30% on energy compared to conventional units.
Easy maintenance
The condensing unit operates on the same system as refrigeration equipment.
Space saving
Can be mounted on the top of the outside of the cold room.
