Multidecks JUPITER for Different Product Ranges
FREOR’s JUPITER multidecks are among the most versatile refrigeration units, suitable for nearly any product category. Their true strength lies in the wide range of accessories and modifications available. On their own, they would simply function as large refrigeration boxes – but with the right accessories, they transform into fully customized solutions.
At Carrefour supermarket, JUPITER multidecks were installed in two distinct configurations to meet diverse display needs. For the fresh produce section, an open version without doors was selected to provide easy customer access. To enhance presentation, upper mirrors were added to create a sense of abundance, while adjustable plexiglass limiters ensured that loose fruits and vegetables stayed neatly in place.
These customized JUPITER multidecks were seamlessly connected in line with other units, each accessorized to suit different product ranges. For ready-to-eat and dairy products, JUPITER models were fitted with glass doors and panoramic end walls, maintaining excellent visibility even from a distance. All units came with standard canopy lighting, while those dedicated to meat were equipped with special, red-toned lighting designed to highlight freshness and quality in the meat display.
Accessorized Semi Verticals PLUTON SPACE
A strong example of how accessories enhance functionality can be seen in the PLUTON SPACE semi verticals installed at Carrefour supermarket. Several units were equipped with plexiglass shelf fences and various types of shelf dividers, enabling the display of multiple product types on a single shelf while keeping them neatly organized and preventing items from falling out. The real advantage of such accessories is their flexibility – they can be easily added or removed at any time to adapt to seasonal changes and different product ranges.
Some PLUTON SPACE units were only fitted with simpler accessories, such as price holders, which proved especially effective for presenting larger packaged products like cakes and boxed pastries. To improve energy efficiency, all semi-verticals were accessorized with LED lighting tailored to different product categories, as well as manual night blinds to reduce energy consumption outside operating hours.
Additionally, a few PLUTON SPACE units were fitted with special-request accessories – short metal shelves arranged in a chessboard pattern, creating a unique and eye-catching display solution.
When Standard Refrigeration Equipment is Enough
With almost 25 years of experience, we know what FREOR clients like and need, so sometimes our standardly equipped refrigeration equipment is simply enough, and it doesn’t require many, if any, additional accessories.
LEDA freezers implemented in the Carrefour supermarket were only additionally equipped with wire dividers, and ERIDA freezers with price holders. While with serve-overs VEGA QB HG, and self-service counters IDA S H1, the chain didn’t require any additional accessories.
