In der niederländischen Stadt Nederhermert wurde ein Lebensmittelgeschäft modernisiert und als “COOP Compact” wiedereröffnet. Der Markt hat sich bei seiner technischen Modernisierung für Kühlmöbel und das Hydroloop-System von FREOR entschieden. Installiert wurde die Kältetechnik von “Koelservice van Tol” – FREORs offiziellem Partner in der Region.
Alle Kühlmöbel werden mit dem umweltfreundlichen Kältemittel Propan (R290) betrieben. Es ist deutlich energieeffizienter als H-FKW. Der Einsatz von Inverter-Technologie erlaubt weitere Energie-Einsparungen durch eine bedarfsgerechte Anpassung der Kompressor-Drehzahl. Am Tage braucht der Kompressor für eine stabile Zieltemperatur mehr Energie. In der Nacht kann die Kompressor-Leistung heruntergefahren werden. So wird die Propan-Kühlung noch energieeffizienter.
Im Markt “COOP Compact” sind alle Kühlmöbel an ein FREOR Hydroloop-System angeschlossen. Dieser geschlossene Kreislauf auf Glykol-Basis ermöglicht den bedarfsgerechten Umgang mit Abwärme. Je nach Jahreszeit kann sie entweder aus dem Markt abgeführt oder zu dessen Beheizung genutzt werden.
FREOR Hydro-Aggregate eignen sich auch für Kühlräume. Zusammen mit Kühlmöbeln können sie an einen gemeinsamen Glykol-Kreislauf angeschlossen werden.

Die gesamte Installation ist Teil eines Kontrollsystems. Auftretende Fehler werden direkt an unseren Partner gemeldet. Geräte-Einstellungen können ferngesteuert korrigiert werden. Zur automatischen Geräte-Regelung wird ein Carel-Steuerungssystem verwendet.
Märkte der COOP-Kette arbeiten quasi im Energiesparmodus. Die Märkte verwenden zu 100 Prozent “grünen” Strom. Sie setzen energieeffiziente Kühlmöbel und -Systeme ein. Und sie nutzen LEDs als Leuchtmittel. In der Regel macht die Kühlung den größten Teil des Energie-Verbrauchs eines Marktes aus. Deshalb werden alle gefrorenen Produkte in geschlossenen Kühlmöbeln gelagert und präsentiert.
