Wir sind ständig auf der Suche nach neuen Einzelhandelsprojekten, die das ökologische und ökonomische Potenzial nachhaltiger Märkte unter unterschiedlichsten Bedingungen belegen. Eines dieser Projekte liegt auf Aruba, einer Insel auf den kleinen Antillen in der südlichen Karibik. Anfang Juni 2020 eröffnete dort der Wei Ming-Supermarkt. Er arbeitet zu 100 % mit dem natürlichen Kältemittel Propan R290. Die steckerfertigen Kühlmöbel und ein glykol-basiertes Hydroloop-System zeigen sich auch in diesem tropisch-maritimen Klima als eine wirkungsvolle ökologische Alternative zu den herkömmlichen HFKW-Verbund-Anlagen. Der Wei Ming-Supermarkt liegt in der Stadt Noord. Dort fällt die durchschnittliche Tagestemperatur nicht unter 30 °C. Das sind herausfordernde klimatische Bedingungen – vor allem mit Blick auf den Energieverbrauch der Lebensmittel-Kühlung. Der Einsatz unseres innovativen Hydroloop-Systems ist in diesem Teil der Welt noch neu. Es funktioniert dort so überzeugend wie in weiteren 29 Ländern: Das System sammelt die überschüssige Abwärme der Kühlmöbel und führt sie über Rohrleitungen aus dem Gebäude ab. Als Kühlmittel innerhalb der Rohre dient eine Glykol-Wasser-Lösung. So wird eine ungewollte Aufheizung des Marktes durch die Kühlmöbel-Abwärme verhindert und der Energie-Verbrauch – auch für Klimaanlagen – minimiert.
Zusammen mit Kühlmöbeln auf Propanbasis trägt die Hydroloop-Lösung erheblich zu einer höheren Energie- und Kosteneffizienz bei. Und ganz nebenbei minimiert sie auch noch den Treibhauseffekt.
FREOR Kühlmöbel kommen im Wei Ming Markt in der Plus- und Minus-Kühlung zum Einsatz. Für die Pluskühlung werden 3 Kühlregale und 2 Kühltheken genutzt, in der Minus-Kühlung 3 TK-Möbel. Insgesamt wurden im Markt 24,52 Meter Kühlmöbel installiert. Sie arbeiten alle mit dem natürlichen Kältemittel Propan. Und sie sind alle an denselben Glykol-Kreislauf angeschlossen.
