Freor hat an der in Warschau (Polen) stattgefundenen Ausstellung Retail Show 2015 teilgenommen, bei der die umweltfreundlichen, auf Grundlage von Propan funktionierenden, Kühlmöbel (refrigeration equipment) vorgestellt wurden.
„Freor“ hat als eines der ersten Unternehmen weltweit eine Propan-Kühltechnologie entwickelt, die die Bestimmungen der Sicherheitsstandards EN 378 und IEC 60335-2-89 (höchstens 150 Gramm Propangas in einen geschlossenen Zyklus) erfüllt und es ermöglicht, dieses natürliche Kältemittel in großen kommerziellen Kühlmöbeln einzusetzen.

Kurz über die bei der Ausstellung präsentierten umweltfreundlichen Lösungen
Propan R290 ist ein natürliches Kältemittel, dass die Ozonschicht nicht schädigt, und bei seiner Freisetzung an die Umwelt ist es nicht schädlich, außerdem besitzt es besondere Eigenschaften der Wärmeübertragung.
Auf Propan basierende Kältetechnik ist attraktiver wegen ihrer Umweltfreundlichkeit und wegen den nachstehenden Eigenschaften:
Ein Propansystem ist kostengünstiger als ein CO2-System. Es ist auch kein Sonderraum für ein Verdichteraggregat notwendig, also spart das Geschäft Platz; und für den Raum, in dem die Pumpe aufgestellt wird, gelten keine Sonderkriterien.
Kühlmöbel dieses Typs sind im Stromverbrauch bis zu 30 % effizienter als jene, die auf Freon-Basis funktionieren. Ein Propansystem ist nicht weniger effizient als ein CO2-System, denn es arbeitet in einem Modus, der von der Außentemperatur abhängig ist, also ist es leichter, den optimalen Stromverbrauch zu gewährleisten.
Alles wird in der Fabrik zusammengesetzt, deshalb werden keine Kältetechniker zum Anschluss komplizierter Kühlsysteme benötigt.
