Die französische Carrefour Express Einzelhandelskette eröffnet ein weiteres Lebensmittelgeschäft in Rumänien. FREORs Beitrag zum Projekt sind kältetechnische Geräte: Kühlregale werden in den Verkaufsräumen installiert. Hydro-Aggregate kommen in den Kühlräumen zum Einsatz. Ein Hydroloop Glykol System nutzt Glykol-Leitungen zur Abfuhr überschüssiger Wärme aus dem Markt.
Bei Carrefour Express fiel die Entscheidung zugunsten einer umweltfreundlichen Kälte-Lösung. Alle Kühlregale arbeiten mit dem energieeffizienten und umweltfreundlichen Kältemittel R290 (Propan). Der offizielle FREOR-Partner in Rumänien ist Marco & Alex. Das Unternehmen hat ein Hydroloop Glykol System im Markt installiert. Das System verbindet die JUPITER Kühlregale, den ERIDA Tiefkühlschrank und die Hydro-Aggregate für die Kühlräume über Glykol-Leitungen. Die Zirkulation in den Leitungen wird durch integrierte Pumpen gewährleistet. Hydro-Aggregate sind mit Kompressoren und Plattenwärmetauschern ausgestattet. Die Aggregate sind eine kompakte, raumsparende Lösung, die auch in Technikräumen platziert werden kann. So geht ihr Aufbau nicht zulasten der Kühlflächen in Kühlräumen oder im Markt.
Das FREOR Hydroloop System ist ideal für kleine Supermärkte oder Tankstellen. Es nutzt auf umweltfreundliche Art die Abwärme der Kühlmöbel. Im Sommer wird die überschüssige Wärme über Glykol-Leitungen aus dem Markt abgeführt. In der kalten Jahreszeit wird die Wärme zur Beheizung des Marktes genutzt.
