FREOR NEW DESIGN LINE of commercial refrigeration equipment, introduced at the EuroShop 2023 trade fair, started gaining momentum. Its combination of modern design, energy efficiency, quality, and functionality makes it suitable for a variety of settings, from small convenience stores to trendy supermarkets like K-Market Station Kupitta – the first supermarket to implement NDL refrigeration equipment.
The newly opened K-Market Station Kupitta supermarket in Turku, Finland, features a modern and trendy design with eye-catching neon signs with the names of the aisles. To further enhance this aesthetic, the supermarket chose NDL units, which complemented the overall design with their straight lines, sharp corners, and dark color palettes.
FREOR multidecks NDL JUPITER were installed in different product aisles, offering exceptional adaptability and easy customization to showcase any product range from soft drinks to fruits and vegetables. With additional LED lighting and glass doors, NDL JUPITER created a perfect ambiance while ensuring better energy consumption.
The NEW DESIGN LINE equipment was designed to work seamlessly together, allowing customers to create layouts and combinations that meet their needs. For a smooth transition from fresh to frozen products, the K-Market Station Kupitta supermarket chose the NDL ERIDA freezer in line with the NDL JUPITER multideck. Featuring large triple-glazed glass doors, NDL ERIDA ensures high thermal insulation, resulting in better energy efficiency and easy product visibility at the customer’s eye level. The freezer was chosen for ice cream and other frozen product displays.
Both NDL ERIDA and NDL JUPITER feature modern looking, dark color, four-level bumpers that seamlessly merge with the unit, adding to the design and ensuring protection against the trolleys.
NDL commercial refrigeration equipment is designed to operate with environment-friendly refrigerants like propane (R290) or CO2 (R744). Since the K-Market Station Kupitta supermarket is located in a colder climate country, it opted for NDL refrigeration equipment that operates with CO2 refrigerant in a remote cooling system, which is most suitable for working under mild and cold climate conditions, where it can improve energy consumption by up to 10%.
