Przemyślenie strategii chłodzenia za pomocą komercyjnych urządzeń chłodniczych przez centra handlowe jest jednym z najważniejszych i największych czynników w dążeniu do zapewnienia efektywności i zrównoważenia energetycznego. Właśnie ten cel zadecydował o tym, że w nowym sklepie ICA po raz pierwszy zamontowano pełny układ chłodzenia Hydroloop Glycol.
Układ Hydroloop Glycol od FREOR pozwala na dodatkowe wykorzystanie nadmiaru ciepła na ogrzewanie sklepu i wody w okresie zimowym, natomiast w okresie letnim – na efektywne usunięcie tego samego ciepła przez ekologiczną linię glikolową. Projekt zrealizowała jedna z wiodących w dziedzinie rozwiązań chłodniczych firm oraz partner FREOR – Coolfors Sweden. Nie tylko pomogli oni wybrać najbardziej odpowiednie dla sieci handlowej rozwiązanie chłodnicze, ale i zamontowali w nowym sklepie cały sprzęt z linii FREOR Green Wave R290.

Sklep ICA wybrał czynnik chłodniczy, jakim jest propan (R290), jako alternatywę dla CO2 (R744), w celu większej efektywności. Sieć ICA będzie obserwować zużycie energii przez pełny układ chłodniczy Hydroloop Glycol, aby upewnić się, iż układ ten wraz z czynnikiem chłodniczym R290 będzie odpowiedzią, stanowiącą bezpieczną przyszłość, realizującą cele zrównoważonego rozwoju firmy również dla pozostałych, mniejszych sklepów w Szwecji.
