Die litauische Supermarktkette IKI, die zur REWE-Handelsgruppe gehört, war die erste, die Kälteanlagen aus der FREOR NEW DESIGN LINE (NDL) in ihren Märkten installiert hat. Mit Erscheinen der NDL am Markt hat die Kette konsequent alle neuen und zu modernisierenden Filialen mit Kühlmöbeln dieser Designlinie ausgestattet.
Anfang des Jahres eröffnete IKI einen neuen Supermarkt in Europa, einem der bekanntesten Einkaufszentren in Vilnius. Mit diesem Standort rückt der Markt ganz nah heran an die Geschäftsleute der Innenstadt und ihren Einkaufsbedarf.

Bedarf geschäftiger Anlieger mit wenig Zeit gebaut. Die Marktgestaltung und das Produktsortiment wurde so konzipiert, dass Kunden besonders in der oft knapp bemessenen Mittagspause einfach und schnell das finden, was sie gerade brauchen. Dieses transparente Marktlayout sollte aber gleichzeitig stilvoll gestaltet sein, um so das hochwertige Erscheinungsbild des Einkaufszentrums wirkungsvoll zu ergänzen. Das moderne Design der NEW DESIGN LINE mit seinen geraden Linien und rechten Winkeln verleiht dem Supermarkt jene hochwertige Eleganz, die sehr gut einhergeht mit der Klarheit des Marktlayouts und der intuitiven Orientierung seiner Besucher.
Zu der beliebtesten NDL-Konstellation zählt die Verbindung des Kühlregals NDL JUPITER mit dem Tiefkühlschrank NDL ERIDA. Für eine effektive Raumnutzung wurden sie wandseitig aufgebaut. Da ihre Fronten nahtlos ineinander übergehen, entstand so eine eindrucksvolle Reihung, die tiefgekühlte Pizza, Knödel und Desserts übergangslos neben frischen Milchprodukten und verpackten Fleischwaren präsentiert. NDL JUPITER-Kühlregale wurden auch als Einzelaufbauten in anderen Kühlzonen des Marktes integriert – mit vergleichbar eleganter Wirkung.
Im vorderen Bereich des Marktes steht das halbhohe Kühlregal NDL PLUTON SPACE. Es ist ein Möbel, das den Kundenblick einfängt und auf seine frischen Grab & Go-Produkte lenkt, um seine Aufmerksamkeit dann weiterzuleiten an angrenzende Auslagen und den gesamten Verkaufsraum. Möglich wird dieses Hineinziehen in den Markt durch die halbhohe Bauweise des Möbels, das neue Sichtachsen nicht verstellt, sondern offen hält. Das verstärkt den großzügigen Eindruck des Marktes und die entspannt übersichtliche Orientierung in ihm.
Die SB-Theken NDL IDA QB und NDL IDA QB H1 wurden an strategisch günstigen Punkten im Markt platziert. Sie lenken den Blick auf dynamisch präsentierte Aktionswaren. Indem sie die beworbenen Produkte gezielt in den Aufmerksamkeitsfokus des Kunden bringen, spielen sie keine unerhebliche Rolle bei der Umsatzsteigerung der offensiv präsentierten Aktionsware.
NDL VEGA SPACE QB bildet aus HG-Modellen mit hoher Glasfront und LG-Modellen mit niedriger Glasfront eine Thekenlandschaft, die für den Verkauf von frischem Fleisch und Fisch die Stärken von persönlichem Service und einfacher Selbstbedienung warengerecht vereint.
Die installierten NDL-Gewerbekälteanlagen erfüllen alle Anforderungen des zentral gelegenen und stark frequentierten Supermarktes. Gleichzeitig werten sie sein Erscheinungsbild auf. Sämtliche Kühlmöbel sind an ein Verbundsystem angeschlossen. Dieses System arbeitet mit dem Kältemittel CO2 (R744) und ist somit eine umweltfreundliche und zukunftssichere Kühllösung.
