W ciągu pięciu lat RIMI Baltic zmniejszyło ilość emitowanego gazu CO2 o 60 razy, jednak wciąż szuka rozwiązań, które pozwoliłyby jeszcze mniej zanieczyszczać środowisko. Do 2030 roku planują oni zacząć produkcję swojej własnej „zielonej” energii i osiągnąć zerową emisję gazów powodujących efekt cieplarniany.
